The NCR trails and forests are a prime example of the geographical and biodiverse intersection of various terrains and climates. The forests feature diverse cultures and habitats, including lakes, water catchments, villages, grasslands, rocky outcrops, and wetlands, and houses rich biodiversity including endemic plants, birds, jackals and the staple of the region, the Nilgai - and in some rare cases, the elusive leopard!
