Swim Across the Goan Channel - Zuari Challenge | 6 December 2026 This is the OG channel to swim across in Goa - a challenging yet enjoyable swim across the Zuari River - the lifeline for many Goans. We will swim between the Mormugao Port Trust and the beautiful Hawaii beach, aptly named after Hawaii, for its scenic sunrise and sunset visuals over the water. This river is also home to dolphins and turtles, and if you're lucky, these beautiful creatures might just join you along the swim! Whether you are gliding through the 2.5 km course or savoring the full 5 km journey, this is a chance to move in harmony with the tides alongside a community of fellow swimmers. This swim route is GOWSC's origin story - these are the waters we started swimming in, a decade ago, a small group of friends, with a big dream for open water swimming in India! - Swim distances available: 5 km and 2.5 km - Limited Early Dolphin tickets available - Registration opens on 17 October 2026, 12 pm onwards
