Delhi's running calendar is headlined by the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, one of the fastest half marathon courses in Asia, drawing elite and amateur runners each November. The city's running culture spans Connaught Place, India Gate, Saket, South Delhi, and the Yamuna riverfront, with Lodhi Garden and Nehru Park serving as daily training hubs. NCR extends the race map significantly — Gurugram, Noida, and Faridabad all host their own events, making Delhi-NCR the largest geographic running catchment in India. The season runs October to February, after which heat and air quality make outdoor racing difficult.
